It was during morning prayer, sometime in the Fall of 1986 when the Rev. William T. Sawyer , Jr. approached her and said, "DaNine, this church is ready for a drama and dance department, and you are the person for the job. Now run with it, and let me know of anything you need."
So, with no prior experience or training, at 6:00 in the morning on Christmas day in 1986, at the Christian Tabernacle Evangelistic Church in Cleveland, OH, we debuted as the drama and dance ministry under the direction of DaNine K. (Mahone) Ward. We have since grown from a captivating drama and dance group, which eventually became “Lift-Him Ministries”, into the influential entity we are today!
At the cutting edge, we push people in the entertainment industry to uphold excellent values and honor God. We do several things including creating productions, teaching performing arts classes, helping to organize similar performing arts programs for churches and communities, and online workshops. All to see God glorified in the entertainment industry!
The entertainment industry is a very influential entity in this world. It is considered one of the 7 mountains of influence!
